Overview
The AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) is France's securities-markets regulator and its licensing authority for crypto-asset service providers under MiCA. In 2025 it supervised 671 asset-management companies and 13,659 collective investment schemes holding €2,298 billion, and authorised 11 CASPs as France's crypto sector transitions from the national PSAN regime to the European one. Its enforcement arm closed the year with 13 sanction decisions totalling €14.5 million plus 18 settlement agreements worth €4.38 million.
