Overview

The Agencija za trg vrednostnih papirjev (Securities Market Agency) is Slovenia's supervisor of the market in financial instruments — brokerage firms, banks providing investment services, management companies, investment and mutual pension funds, and public companies — and the country's licensing authority for crypto-asset service providers under MiCA. It reports annually to the National Assembly and is led by a Director who also chairs the five-member Agency Council. As of July 2026, three Slovenian crypto-asset service providers appear in the ESMA MiCA register. Everything below is ATVP's own data, from its official publications.
