Overview

The EU's banking authority — one of the three ESAs. Writes the technical standards, guidelines, and Q&As that flesh out CRD, CRR, PSD2, and (jointly with ESMA) MiCA. Coordinates the annual EU-wide bank stress test. Directly supervises AML for high-risk cross-border banking activities under AMLR.
